Mammography Breast Cancer Detection Is Not a Good Method

Deaths from breast cancer usually appear between ages 30 to 50 years. Fortunately, today you have more choice in detecting breast cancer than a few decades ago.

Unfortunately, education and socialization will these options and their effectiveness in detecting breast cancer in different levels is less.

Better than Mammography

At the beginning of his article, Beyond Mammography, Dr. Len Saputo told me that he followed the development of all detection methods used by the medical community, including mammography, clinical breast test, ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and PET scans.

In the next section, Dr. Len explained about a method of detection is better than mammography, explains in detail how the latest and great this one method, namely termografi breast (breast Thermography).

Termografi breast is a breast cancer detection methods that have been there since around the 1960s, using a scanner monitors the heat to heat variation detecting breast in the body. However, the infrared scanner in these years was less sensitive. Today, more termografi modern breast has undergone a very rapid progress than ever before.

Breast cancer is the second most violent to women in the United States. Based on the latest reports Cancer.org, 2007-2008 Breast Cancer Data, in the year 2007 there have been 178,000 new cases of breast cancer and more than 40,000 women die of it.

But to watch a man not immune to breast cancer. Has found more than 2,000 men diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007 and approximately 450 men died because of it. Because detection of breast cancer for men is almost never done, this seems to make a man diagnosed with a more severe stage, and thus a small survival rate.

Unfortunately, in this case the conventional medical still use the old method of detecting and treating cancer, no matter how much less effective method.

The use of mammography as a standard is one example of conventional medical errors in detecting cancer.

The Case Against Mammography

Health institutions in the United States recommends all women over 40 years to get a mammogram every 1 or 2 years, but there is no strong evidence that mammogram tests could save lives and the benefits were too controversial. It is precisely the danger to the health of mammography has been clearly known.

John Gofman, M.D., Ph.D. – A nuclear physicist and a medical doctor, and one of the world-class experts in the field of radiation hazards, presenting the evidence irrefutable in his book “Radiation from Medical Procedures in the Pathogenesis of Cancer and Ischemic Heart Disease”, which explains that the more 50% rate of cancer deaths was triggered by the use of x-ray.

Fcsd’s ‘car Care for a Cause’ Battles Breast Cancer

The Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) intends to prove that an oil change could actually be able to battle breast cancer. This April, FCSD will deliver a unique event dubbed as the “Car Care for a Cause.” This is FCSD’s event and it is set to coincide with the National Car Care Month theme.

The Car Care for a Cause will include making a $100,000 donation to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure on behalf of its Ford and Lincoln Mercury dealerships’ service customers. FCSD will be joining with Ford’s Warrior in Pink campaign, which is also aimed at raising funds for the mentioned breast cancer research supporting organization. The Warrior in Pink campaign sells specially designed gears, items, and apparel that feature bold symbols of unity, cause and harnessing power to educate the populace about the deadly breast cancer.

FCSD chose April, the National Car Care Month, for its promotion because it is one of the busiest times of the year for vehicle service. “More people coming in to care for their vehicle means more people exposed to Komen’s important messages, including steps to early detection,” said Telisa Roberson-Yancy, the marketing manager of Owner Loyalty & Communications.

Aside from helping in the fight against breast cancer, Ford and Lincoln Mercury dealership services will also be giving rewards to customers including no payments and interest-free financing for products and services, spa gift cards and free TripTunes car stereo connectors. The oil change reminder stickers, bearing the Susan G. Komen for the Cure logo, are just one of the strategies employed so as to promote awareness about breast cancer concerns and to bolster the worthwhile cause.

“Even something so small can make a big difference,” said Cindy Schneible, the vice president of resource development for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization. In April, radio spots will air the hit single “I Run for Life” sang by Grammy Award-winning singer Melissa Ethridge, herself a breast cancer survivor. Ethridge produced the song for Ford’s breast cancer campaign.

“For the past 25 years, Susan G. Komen for the Cure has been on a mission to end breast cancer forever,” Schneible said. “Programs such as Car Care for a Cause are an integral part of that mission, helping us reach millions of consumers with life-saving breast health messages and raising funds that support breast cancer research and community outreach programs.”

Tamoxifen Shockingly Found to Cause Aggressive Breast Cancer

Long-term Tamoxifen use, as widely promoted by oncologists for women following breast cancer, turns out to increase the risk of highly aggressive hormone receptor-negative breast cancer by 440%.  This means that while Tamoxifen reduces the risk for less invasive estrogen positive cancer by 60%, it is at the same time putting many women in extreme peril.

The lead researcher, Christopher Li, M.D., Ph.D., at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center seemed more apologetic than anything in quotes from his press release, almost embarrassed to publish the results for fear of professional backlash.  This position reflects the extreme pressure researchers find themselves in when they publish studies that would cause almost any woman to not take Tamoxifen.

Dr. Li’s fear is testament to the sickness that pervades the medical community’s use of drugs.  His study is unlikely to change any prescribing practices in America, as short-sighted doctors will decide in their own minds that the benefits of Tamoxifen outweigh the risks – even when the data says it doesn’t.  In essence, his data is not welcome.

In 2002, in my book Mastering Leptin, I pointed out the ridiculousness of using Tamoxifen for breast cancer prevention.  At that time it was clear that Tamoxifen increased leptin levels, thus provoking an increase in inflammation that causes increased cancer risk.  Due to this, women on Tamoxifen are likely to gain weight, thus inducing insulin resistance (and IGF1 confusion in breast tissue), which again leads to increased risk for another breast cancer.  Tamoxifen also causes fatty liver congestion, increased risk for endometrial cancer, vaginal bleeding and discharge, major circulatory adverse events, and hot flashes.

Of course, the FDA doesn’t do anything about this because they are inept at making drug companies do the follow up safety testing required by law.  The FDA simply sits around until a catastrophe blows up in its face, and then they move like a tortoise trying to cross the road – hoping to limit liability for the drug company involved.

It is hard to know if the medical profession will ever wake up to the damage they are causing in the name of “help.”  If you are a woman taking Tamoxifen and you have gained weight or you can’t lose weight, you need to find something else to do because the risks likely outweigh the benefits.

To prevent a second cancer you must get insulin, leptin, and IGF1 signals working in harmony.

Cleaners May be One Cause of Breast Cancer

University Studies Show Household Cleaners May be One Cause of Breast Cancer   In recent studies conducted by scientists at the University of California, Berkeley, and Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, researchers found many household cleaners emit toxic pollutants that, over time, will lead to health risks, and may be one cause of breast cancer in women.   Scientists searching for the cause of breast cancer in relation to poor indoor air quality, identified a link between toxic household cleaners and an on set of escalating diseases associated with toxic chemical poisoning.   The American Association of Poison Control Centers reported the largest occurrences of household poisoning are directly related to cleaners such as, toilet bowl cleaners, bleach, detergents and air fresheners.    The chemical Chlorine, used in bleach and toilet bowl cleaners, is the leading cause of breast cancer among cleaning products. Research scientists will not even handle chlorine without protective gloves, face masks and proper ventilation.    Statistics for the cause of breast cancer in the US show 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer annually. That’s 180,000 cases a year. Unfortunately, 44,000 will be fatal.   As noted author Dr. Sherry Rogers points out, “There is an avalanche of toxic chemicals overpowering our bodies daily and we are not able to eliminate them fast enough”.   “Our bodies have developed over thousands of years to ward off bacteria and viruses, but the chemicals we see today are only 80 to 100 years old, and our bodies have not had the time to adapt enough to fight off the toxins associated with them”.   “As a result, we become ill, developing asthma or breast cancer and we wonder why, never once considering our indoor environment may have caused the illness”.

In other research by the Washington Toxins Coalition, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) found in ordinary household cleaners contain carcinogens, (cancer food), and neurotoxins that when they become air borne, can also be a cause of breast cancer in women.   “High levels of Toluene (VOC’S) can also put pregnant women at risk of of having babies with neurological disorders, retarded growth, and developmental problems”.   One county taking the advice of University and Government research into the cause of breast cancer and other chemical related diseases, such as asthma, is Suffolk County New York.   They are to be praised for their legislative action in passing a new law banning toxic chemicals from municipal properties. The new law will require that toxic chemicals be avoided when the county purchases products for cleaning or landscaping municipal properties.   PHD Allen McMichael’s from the Miami Institute of Health was quoted as saying “We were taught that when you open your washing machine and smell the bleach, that means the clothes are clean”   He continued, “But who told you it was a clean smell? Your mom did, right?” He then asked “Where did she get her PHD?”   “I have a PHD in Chemical Biology, and I am telling you the smell of chlorine can cause asthma, and I’m telling you the smell of chlorine can cause cancer, and I’m telling you the smell of chlorine is fowl to scientists”.   Authors Note:   There has been 85,000 new chemicals introduced into mainstream America since the end of world war 2.   In the last 2 years, the EPA has only tested 4.   To learn more about the cause of breast cancer related to household cleaners and what you can do to make your home toxin free, please visit the Green Opportunity
